The toughest, coolest superheroes of the past few years have all been women, but the baddest of the bad was Xena: Warrior Princess. The long running fantastical adventure from New Zealand has finally come to an end, but Xena's legendary journey and her adoring fans will live on for years and years to come through the mega-masses of fan-based Xena sites populating the cyber landscape.

The Xenaverse is chocked full of seriously devoted Xenites, so loyal they are, that they often boot patrons out of IRC Internet chats for making fun of their warrior goddess. Ironically it turns out that once upon a time, one of those very patrons was Lucy Lawless, herself, logged under the name "Hercules". She was poking fun at her very own character and got the royal treatment from her devoted legions of fans, it seems that no one messes with Xena, not even her real-life alter ego.

Here's a little insider tip, keep an eye out for a special cameo by Lucy Lawless in next summer's smash hit, Spider-Man.
