1. Fearsome Foursome

The Wiggles are the latest children's fun time sensation! Their musical group picks up where the Monkees left off for the new millennium. Playing straight into the hearts of the pre-school crowd, the Wiggles skirt fashion and fad pitfalls, entertaining the tots for more than a decade now. The four Australian musicians are Greg, Murray, Jeff and Anthony each brandishing their own color coding of yellow, red, purple and blue, respectively.

2. Dino Dynamite

Greg, Murray, Jeff and Anthony are not alone in their travels and entertaining, they are constantly accompanied by their trusty mascots - Dorothy the Dinosaur, Henry the Octopus, Wags the Dog and Captain Feathersword.

3. Tuneful Teachers From Down Under

Anthony Field, Murray Cook and Greg Page met while studying Early Childhood Education at Sydney's Macquarie University. For one of their music projects, the three began writing children's songs. Anthony had been in a band called the Cockroaches with Jeff Fatt so they enlisted him to be part of their entourage and The Wiggles were born. The Wiggles made it official when they took their finished tape to ABC Music, soon after they released their first self-titled album in 1991.

4. On With The Show

Their own brand of video entertainment is a magical mix of live action and animation. Their latest show, Wiggles Bay hits video this week. They also have 26 half-hour episodes, The Wiggles Movie and their own allocation on Playhouse Disney. Fueled by former Sesame Street screenwriter, Don Arioli, these guys are making huge waves in the pre-school pool of fun and excitement!

5. Yellow

Greg Page is the lead singer of The Wiggles. He's the yellow one with the big smile. He also digs dancing and doing magic. His side gig with The Wiggles is performing many a magical feat. Greg chimes in, "Not all of my magic tricks work, but they are still a lot of fun." Kids recognize him by his yellow skivvy and black pants.

6. Red

Murray Cook is another vocalist with Greg. He often kicks off the tunes with his guitar. Murray boasts, "I have so many different guitars and I used them all recording the music for The Wiggles Movie." He's a hero with a thousand faces and wears a red skivvy, black pants and an ear-splitting grin.

7. Blue

Anthony Field is the little drummer guy. He also sings and plays guitar. Wait.if he can do all that, what does he need those other guys for? Because he likes joking and having a good time and those things are always better with a group of friends. Dancing and singing with The Wiggles makes him hungry and his favorite food is fruit. He's crazy about it. He mutters, "Oh, food, food, food. I love to eat. Dancing and singing with the Wiggles makes me hungry. I like fruit, fruit salad, hot potatoes, cold spaghetti and mashed bananas." Kids can spot him by his blue skivvy and black trousers.

8. Purple

Jeff Fatt is the fourth musketeer in the Wiggles. He plays keyboards and sings. He loves performing but only when he's awake. He likes to sleep and when he does it, he dreams of being asleep. A strange conundrum. Jeff jingles, "The Wiggles are so much fun, only I use so much energy when I dance and sing that I get tired and I need my sleep, sometimes I fall asleep on stage, but the children wake me up by shouting 'Wake Up Jeff!'" Kids know him by his unmistakable purple skivvy, black pants and wacky grin.

9. Fun Fact

In earlier videos, Anthony had a green shirt rather than blue, but green is now the color of Dorothy the Dinosaur.

10. Oz Fest

Hailing from the Land Down Under, The Wiggles have grown to become Australia's most successful children's entertainment group. It is estimated that one in two of all toddlers in Australia either sing-a-long to The Wiggles via CD or video or have been to a Wiggles concert. Over the past decade their popularity has grown and grown and now they are known all-over the world. Kids can see their show on the Disney Channel or catch one of their many concerts as they are always touring around the world.

11. Educated For More Than A Guess

Early Childhood training continues to influence the approach they take with their live shows, videos and The Wiggles Movie. Anthony Field feels that a lot of The Wiggles success is owed to their knowledge of child development. "A lot of what we do comes from a child's perspective", smiles Anthony. "It's got a lot to do with what songs are about and the language we use, and I like to think we know how to write pretty catchy tunes. Right from the start we gave a lot of thought to what was appropriate for children's music."
