Terminator 2 (1991) is the well-executed, action-packed sequel to the earlier film of the same name. Arnold Schwarzenegger's Terminator (a cyborg - a machine that has a human physical appearance and can think on its own) character of the first film, The Terminator (1984) told everyone: "I'll be back" - and proved it with this film.
The sequel reunited director James Cameron and the two major stars, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton. The science-fiction blockbuster is known for its computer-generated special effects and dazzling, non-stop action sequences. Reprogrammed by the human resistance in the year 2029, the original Terminator comes back to save John Connor, the future leader of the humans, from the morphing T-1000. Upon his arrival the naked Terminator appropriates some snappy biker gear, a Harley, a wide assortment of guns and promptly sets out to protect the boy. In complete contrast, the T-1000 disguises himself as a clean-cut LAPD officer and grimly proceeds on his mission.
