SLAYER
The band was established in Los Angeles in 1982 by the bands guitarist Kerry King. He had previously been in a band, but he decided that he wanted to start fresh, and so King went on a search for a group of skilled musicians; thus Slayer was born.
For the first year of Slayer’s existence, the band played at local clubs and it was not long before they made their first record deal, and produced their first album, which was entitled, Aggressive Perfector. The other albums that followed include Show No Mercy, Haunting the Chapel, Live Undead, Hell Awaits, Reign in Blood, Seasons in the Abyss, Decade of Aggression, Devine Intervention, Undisputed Attitude, Diabolus in Musica, and God Hates Us All. Slayer has also had their music featured on a number of soundtracks. Slayer has a fantastic metal sound that has always been considered as one of the best. They have gone on a variety of tours all over the world, and have had many record breaking smash hits. Their albums have almost always been featured on the top 100 charts in America. Without a doubt, Slayer is truly a heavy metal music group who knew exactly what they wanted to achieve and did it.
