SEALAB 2021
This is the follow up show to Sealab 2020 which was created as a show to teach children about ways the environment can be saved. The series takes place on an underwater laboratory that acts as a research center under the sea. The new show takes place one year later when the entire crew of men and women have gone insane and are completely unable to run the challenging environment of the laboratory.
The first show is considered by many to be rather too long and uninteresting. It was created through Hanna-Barbera by Alex Toth, who also made Space Ghost. The new show has the same characters and takes place just one year later so Alex Toth may not be pleased with the way things have turned out. The new Sealab 2021 is written by Adam Reed, Matt Thompson, John J. Miller and Chris "MC Chris" Ward. One of the best things about the show is the very cool theme song. It is done by Julie Stepanek and the band, Calamine. |
