ROCKY AND BULLWINKLE
One of the most influential cartoons of all time is Rocky and Bullwinkle.
The animated design and drawings Rocky and Bullwinkle were unique and created a whole new wave of animation that was never seen before in America. Rocky and Bullwinkle were first created in the 1950’s by the animators Jay Ward an Bill Scott. At first the show was called “The Frostbite Falls Review”, and it featured various forest animals (including a squirrel and a Canadian Moose) who conducted their own TV show in the forest. The show was not much of a success so the two men began to work with Alex Anderson and they created the show “Rocky and his Friends”. The show featured only a few cast of characters, such as the flying squirrel, Rocky and the moose, now known as Bullwinkle. After the show first aired it became an instant success among kids and adults alike. Rocky and Bullwinkle was a show that was entertaining and fun to watch. The two characters went on many adventures together and were always being tracked and followed by the two villainous spies Boris and Natasha. Other characters of the cartoon series include The Narrator, Edgar and Chauncey, Captain Peachfuzz, Mr. Big, Gidney and Clyod and Fearless Leader. Rocky and Bullwinkle survived for many years, and can still be seen on the cartoon network. If you are a fan of the excellent show you won’t want to miss out on getting your very own Rocky and Bullwinkle t-shirt!
