The Oblongs are a hilarious, socially inept family that consist of wildly physically deformed members, who live in Hill Valley. The family is made up of Pickles and Bob and their children Biff, Chip, Milo and Beth.

Pickles is a bald, wig-wearing drinker, who is married to the love of her life. Bob resembles Mr Walton in his upbeat, moralistic, pipe smoking fatherly ways…except for the fact that he hasn’t any arms or legs.

Biff and Chip, the 17 year old conjoined twins share three legs and therefore three butt cheeks. Milo is 8, and is unfortunate enough to suffer every traumatic childhood disorder ever known. The youngest, Beth, is 4 and positively fearless who would be considered the epitome of cute…if it wasn’t for the enormous, grotesque, wart covered, growth that protrudes from her head.

With a family like this, as well as Milo’s equally socially rejected friends (Peggy “the Mutant” who has no lower jaw as well as one dangling breast in the centre of her chest, Mikey Butts who, true to his name has butt cheeks that sag down past his knees, and “Creepy Susie”, a melancholic goth girl who, for no apparent reason, floats above the ground) it’s no wonder this show has gained such faithful viewers!
