Jackass was created originally for TV and aired on MTV. It features Johnny Knoxville and his insane group of friends. These guys flock together to do a number of crazy stunts that are relatively dangerous and often extremely disturbing. Their goal is to simply do these stunts in order to see what will become of them. The show became incredibly popular, but because the group wanted to do more than was permitted for TV, so they decided to make the movie Jackass: The Movie.

In the Jackass movie there are various dangerous stunts that the group become involved in, such as wreaking havoc on a golf course and other stupid tricks that involve alligators. Despite how insane both the movie and the show are, it is widely entertaining and was once the most popular show on MTV. The TV series of Jackass has now ended after three seasons, but there are now other shows that have spun off with similar concepts as Jackass.
