GUNDAM WING
After 20 years of terrible oppression by the Earth Alliance and the secret society known as Oz, the colonies are ready for peaceful lives once again. It takes the bravery of five teenage pilots to win that fight. They are recruited for the battle and had to wear mobile suits called Gundams. These Gundams are futuristic robotic rocket ships. The series is about these teens’ struggle to gain back their freedom.
Gundam Wing is loosely based on the Japanese series, Shin Kido Senki, which ran from 1995-1997. The time period the story takes place in is called After Colony or A.C. The humans on Earth are constantly involved in wars while humans on space colonies are living peacefully. When the wars on Earth finally ended, the Earth Sphere Unified Alliance was created to keep peace on Earth and the colonies. Unfortunately, it was really a front for The Romefeller Foundation.
The Alliance’s Army took control of the space colonies using their Mobile Suits. Eventually, the five teens enter to save the day. They have been trained since they were very small to operate super Mobile Suits known as Gundams. The teens were trained by the scientists who created these amazing machines as they are difficult to operate.
This show has massive appeal and is closely followed by a mass of fans.
