The success to any team is to have a constant one. Sometimes it is good to shuffle players around and add new stratagems. However, everyone knows that if it works don’t touch it. That was the attitude of the Bruins team. Part of the Bruins success was that their defense men were amazing and stayed with Boston through out most of their careers. Created in the early 1920’s, the Bruins were a phenomenal force in hockey. This was due to one of their first coaches. During Shore’s coaching period the Bruins managed to win two Stanley Cups and only missed the playoffs twice in his thirteen seasons. A successful team does not only lie within the players it is also determined through their coach. The coach is a huge asset because he must know the strategies and the strengths it takes to win. He must know where the powers lie within his players. There is much more skill involved then one would think.
